Terms of service

The service

camera.wedding lets couples collect photos and videos from their wedding guests through a private album and a QR code. Each plan is a one-time payment for a single event — there are no subscriptions, auto-renewals, or recurring charges.

Your account

You sign in without a password, using either a Google account or a one-time code sent to your email. You are responsible for keeping access to that email secure, and for keeping your album’s link private if you do not want it shared further. You must be at least 18 to create an album.

Your content stays yours

Couples and guests keep full ownership of everything they upload. You grant us only the limited permission we need to store, process, and display your photos and videos so the service can work — nothing more. By uploading, guests grant the couple the right to keep and use those memories. We claim no ownership of your content and never use it for advertising or to train AI.

Acceptable use

Albums are for memories from your celebration. By uploading, you confirm you have the right to share that content and the agreement of the people clearly featured in it. You agree not to upload anything unlawful, hateful, or that infringes someone else’s rights. We may remove content or close an album that breaks these rules or the law.

Prices & payment

Prices are shown before you pay and may vary by region and currency. Payment is processed securely by Stripe; we do not store your card details. The plan you buy applies to one wedding album.

Refunds and your right to cancel

When you buy a plan you are purchasing a digital service that we begin providing as soon as your album starts receiving memories. Under EU consumer law you have a 14-day right to cancel — here is exactly how it works with us:

• Before any upload: you can cancel for a full refund within 14 days of purchase, for any reason. Just email hello@camera.wedding.
• After the first upload: by uploading — or letting a guest upload — the first photo or video, you ask us to begin the service immediately and you acknowledge that you lose the 14-day right to cancel. From that point the plan is non-refundable.
• Always: none of this affects your statutory rights if the service is genuinely faulty. If something is broken and we cannot fix it, contact us and we will make it right.

Upload window & storage

Each plan includes an upload window that opens around your wedding date and a storage period that follows it (from 6 months up to 2 years, depending on your plan). We will remind you to download your memories before storage ends, after which files are permanently deleted. Please keep your own backup of anything you want to treasure forever.

Availability

We work hard to keep camera.wedding running smoothly, but we cannot promise it will always be uninterrupted or error-free. We may improve, change, or occasionally pause features, and we will avoid disrupting an active event wherever we can.

Our responsibility

We are responsible for providing the service with reasonable care and skill. We are not responsible for content that couples or guests upload, or for losses we could not reasonably foresee. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law — including your mandatory rights as a consumer. As a safeguard, always keep your own copy of important photos.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the United Arab Emirates, and disputes fall to the courts of Sharjah. If you are a consumer in the EU/EEA or the UK, none of this removes the mandatory consumer protections of the country where you live, and you can still bring a claim in your local courts.
